Tim Brown- Tales of Creativity 

In this era, many companies design their workspace with purpose to make the employee feel relaxed. This idea is to make the employee familiar with their surroundings, comfortable with the people they’re working with. The condition set up as a fun spot, like wooden huts, or having slide inside the workspace. Playfulness helps people get to better creative solutions. Helps people to do the work better, and also helps people feel comfortable when they’re doing the work.

               The word playful somehow is refer to children. Children can use the box of toys more than the toys itself. For example they could use the box as a car, a robot, etc. They have creative minds that can see things and use it creatively. Moreover, designers should learn to think differently to use things and reuse things creatively.

               As well as learn from children, designers should keep experimenting. There’s one example of industry that keep experimenting in design. That brand is Eames, they stared with designing splints from wounded soldiers in world war II, they keep improving and developing more in industry afterwards. By keep experimenting design, designers could developed their works. That also include exploration, which is about going for quantity, role play, and create services & experiment.

I see a strong and devine shape in this chair.  Sheets of aluminum with different shape connected together could be a great chair I've never seen before.

House for kitten

Kitten house always be similar anywhere. But not this kitty house, the house shaped like a lamp, the materials arranged well and suitable for kitten.

This sink has 3 swivelling circles, each serves a storage compartments. I has elegant and simple aesthetics that brings calm and relaxing atmosphere on a bathroom.

Twist Chair

This chair has a beautiful twisted shape which I can see from any angle. The idea itself comes only from one line, twisted into a chair. 

Vessel Bathtub

I've never seen such an elegant yet rich design of a bathtub like this before. This is a very relaxing space for bathing and release stress. It has 3m long, that could be suspended on the wall.

Dont Break the egg Challenge

Our group member are me, Jun Won, and Ethan.

We had an idea to cover the egg with tissue paper, and put it inside the glass. We filled up the cup with crumbled paper. Later we stick the straw around the cup, and sealed the cup with masking tape. But unfortunately our egg cracked after Jun dropped it from the top.

We learn about thinking creatively. We should be smart to use the materials to cover and annalized all the worst possibilities that will happen to the egg. 

Ceramic Workshop - Don't crack the Clay! 

Ceramic Workshop is one of the most exciting things to do in my life. Today is my first day on doing it, and I'm quite sure I'll take this again in my study afterwards. By studying ceramics I'll improve my skill in creating 3D shape and models.

Another Journey to Take - Different Bus & MRT

Taking a different way than usual makes you feel exited and a bit scared. 

But that feeling is the feeling that should be in your life until the end of the day.

Neon lights never fail to fill up the darkness of the night.

My Journey

Week One - 20-24^th July

"In life, we should see everything from  various way. If we only see things from one way, our vision will be limited and creativity won't grows."

An interesting green cylinder I found out looks like a frog, or an alien. 
Even dust bin can be an inspiration. wow!

They're  all  passengers,

They have a destination.

Each people has a different destination. 
The same thing is, everybody moving to reach the destination, the aim in life.

"Because the only way to reach your destination is moving forward."

The power of many,if they bounded together can show something bigger and meaningful.

Bounded mee in one, a simple art

( made up conversation of a child and his mom ) 

" Look, mama. It has 2 eyes, red and yellow. The bigger one is the nose!

I also see the green moustache there."

"Ohh I see, but don't press it! If you pressed the bell, you'll make everybody worry!"

It's nice too see my childhood dream in reality. I always wonder how if balloon stand straight forever. Seeing this street lamps is my dream comes true. 

Knowing and focusing in what you're doing, try to shoot the perfect point.

A great chance won't come twice.

Once you see it, don't wait, just shoot!

I look the picture above as a sailboat. A big sailboat to be sailed.

Lose sight about your past. Believe that the future has a bigger things for you. A new island to discover.

Have courage to lose your past, and you may cross the ocean!

Walking as routine, I never be aware in crossing the street, until I found this sign.

This sign simply warn people to look. Not just see, but look.

Learn to LOOK into something, look deeper and you'll get the point of what you see. 

Feeling bad about what are you now?  I'm trying to throw away the bad things, change it into good things. Like re-paint my "wall"
